At Akikawa, the team practice with a machine that shoots at 160km/h. Coach Ogata's purpose is to have his players eyes adjust to the pitch to avoid swinging at Furuya's high pitches. Meanwhile, Shunshin is practicing with his own team, throwing against the starting batters. He says exactly where he’s going to throw and the batter tries to hit it. Ogata explains that it was Shunshin's idea as control is truly nurtured in games. He throws, dedicating each pitch to his parents, coach and teammates.
