The first round of the tournament begins. Despite the rain, Furuya and Mukai square off, continuing to out batters with thier own pitching styles. At the bottom of the fifth however, the game is temporarily put into a halt due to the heavy rain. Will this long break affect the pitchers? |

The game finally resume and Mukai doesn't let Seidou score while Furuya seem to have lost the focus he's had before the break. Kataoka decide to switch pitchers, sending in Sawamura, who, despite pitching only to the outside, makes the best possible relief. |

Seidou and Teito continue to hold their ground. Mukai continue to out Seidou's batters and while Sawamura allowed one big hit from Kengo, he is aware of the current limits of his abilities. 08 | Scenario
Teito's battery plan to distract Maezono with an inside pitch, then finish off with an outside. Maezono hits the inside, bringing all runners home. On top of the ninth, Kawakami struggle to get one more out but is calmed by Miyuki. After the match, Ochiai asks Kataoka why he chose to send Sawamura on top of the sixth. Kataoka answers, explaining that it's for the team to grow. |

09 | My Path
Seidou prepares for their upcoming match against Nanamori, and the players are motivated with the thought of getting the chance to avenge their summer loss against Inashiro in the third round. Nabe, Kudo and Higashio however, doesn't share the same level of motivation their teammates have, which Nabe later confess to Miyuki, and Miyuki takes it as Nabe wanting to quit the team. |

10 | Did You Just Pitch...
The second round of the Fall tournament begin. In one stadium is Seidou High versus Nanamori Academy while in another stadium is Inashiro Industrial's match against Ugumori High. Seidou is up by five on top of the first. At the bottom, Sawamura starts for the first time, and is determined to throw to the inside after Nanamori's fourth batter confidently hits his outside pitch. |

11 | The Underdog Story
Seidou wins their match against Nanamori. Meanwhile, Inashiro struggle to score more against Ugumori's ace, Umemiya Seiichi. At the bottom of the seventh, Umemiya reveals the trump card he's been hiding surprising Inashiro. In Inashiro's dugout, Kunitomo says the opponents are a step ahead of them and tells Narumiya it's about time he wakes up. |

12 | Self-Destruction
Inashiro Industrial and Ugumori High's match continue. On top of the eighth, Narumiya is sent to the mound but rejects Tadano's calls for a breaking ball to strike Umemiya out. He throws a fastball which Umemiya hits, resulting to Ugumori High turning the game around and eventually wins the game. |

Ugumori's team celebrate their win over Inashiro Industrial while at Seidou, there is a fallout between Miyuki and Maezono. On the day of the match, Sawamura, Furuya, and Haruichi have a chance encounter with Umemiya in the washroom. |

The third round of the fall tournament begin. There is an air of tension at Seidou's dugout following Miyuki and Maezono's falling out. Miyuki however, reminds the team to focus on beating the opponent. At game time, Furuya is reminded of Umemiya's challenge, and disobeys Miyuki's lead. |

Miyuki and Maezono set aside their misunderstanding in order to win. Ugumori's team on the other hand, makes Furuya throw a lot and his pitch count has reached a hundred. Furuya however, stays persistent and diligent, pitching low strikes consistently to out the batters. |

Seidou High continue to expand their lead. But despite being down by five runs, Ugumori's team remain optimistic. Finding inspiration from Matsubara's strong will he's continued to show the team, and the cheering crowd behind them, Ugumori's batters attack relentlessly with no plans of stopping. |

17 | Shut Him Down!!!
After Seidou's failed attempt for a double play, the team is in a pinch with bases loaded and no outs. Still, Seidou decides to face Ugumori's momentum head on. Ugumori doesn't back down, managing to scale down Seidou's lead. Kataoka decides to have Furuya finish the eighth, then Sawamura to pitch in the ninth. |

Sawamura replaces Furuya on the ninth and feels overwhelmed by the cheering crowd, as well as Umemiya's fighting spirit. Aware of Sawamura's state of mind but at full count, Miyuki decides on an inside pitch to strike Umemiya out. |
